Notes[]

Ambatoiella sexpunctata (Roewer, 1914) transfered from Eulibitia by Medrano & Kury, 2017. They say (p.48) that "This species is morphologically similar to Ambatoiella vigilans Mello-Leitão, 1943 by: (1) coxa IV only apically visible in dorsal view, and (2) coda large, about one third the length of DS. Likewise, the type localities of the two species are only 50 km apart from each other and are in the same mountain range. There is a strong possibility that they are male and female of the same species; however, we decided to maintain them as separate species until further analyses have been carried out."

*The date of 1914 given in Medrano & Kury, 2017 (p.48) disagrees with Kury (2003) stating 1919, also the online version of "tome 10 fasc 2" containing this description is dated 1919, see link below:

Compare Cocholla circulata Roewer 1959, similar dorsal markings.
