Briefly, Roewer 1912 (p.61) defined as: 6 segmented t1 thickened; normal chelicerae; area I tubercles, II unarmed, III larger spines, IV same/larger spines; legs normal/slim

Kury & Alonso-Zarazaga 2011 say "Cynortoides Roewer, 1912 is feminine, as treated originally by its author (Art. 30.1.4.4). Consequently, Cynortoides albiadspersa Goodnight & Goodnight, C. caraibica (Sørensen), C. cubana cubana (Banks), C. cubana signata Roewer, C. marginata Goodnight & Goodnight and C. quadrispinosa Goodnight & Goodnight."
