Dinaria vjentrenicae Hadži, 1932 is the only species in the genus Dinaria (Laniatores:Travuniidae).

  • This is a troglobytic species that shows a moderately high level of specialization to a cave-dwelling existence (reduction of eye tubercle, depigmentation, smooth scute, increased tarsal segment count, relative lengthening of the second leg)[3].
  • It is known from the Vjetrenica cave in Herzegovina[4] (which is now the southern region of Bosnia and Herzegovina).
  • The type specimen is in the Zoological Institute, University of Laibach (Ljubljana), [2] (#08.1931, Jamarsko društvo leg[5]).
