Erecanana typus Sørensen, 1910 is the type species (by subsequent designation of Roewer (1949c)[1]) of the genus Erecanana (Laniatores: Podoctidae).

SynonymyEdit

The four species described by Roewer were synonymized with E. typus by Staręga[6] because the differences are all due to sexual dimorphism and individual variation.
