Guasiniidae González-Sponga 1997 are a neotropical harvestman family of the Suborder Laniatores, in the superfamily Zalmoxoidea.

DescriptionEdit

The specimens of the family are characterized by genitalic features (titillators) and by absence of eyes. They generally are yellowish.

DistributionEdit

The family is endemic to the Neotropics. The two genera that compose the group can be found at Venezuela and Brazil.

TaxonomyEdit

There are currently 2 genera with 3 species. The closest related families are Zalmoxidae, Icaleptidae and Fissiphalliidae.
