Paralomanius longipalpus Goodnight & Goodnight, 1948 is the type species of the genus Paralomanius (Laniatores: Podoctidae).

Goodnight & Goodnight[3] synonymized the two species names because P. longipalpis is the male and P. brevipalpis is the female.
