Puerilia González-Sponga, 1992 is a small genus of the Neotropical family Cosmetidae, subfamily Cosmetinae with two species from Venezuela.

Etymology Edit

The species name psittacoides is derived from the shape of the chelicerae which were said to resemble the beak of parrots (i.e. Psittacidae family of birds).
