Raúl Adolfo Ringuelet (10 Sept 1914, La Plata, Argentina - 1982) was an Argentinean zoologist, most active with Opiliones in the decades of 1950 and 1960.

Notable contributionsEdit

Ringuelet focused his work on Argentinean and Uruguayan fauna of harvestmen. His most notable work is Ringuelet 1959[1], a synopsis of the Opiliones in Argentina.
